Summary/Requirements:
Global investment firm seeks senior level software developer for their trading system in their NYC office.
7+ years development experience in the investment/securities industry plus Bachelor’s in Comp Sci/Eng required
Strong trading system knowledge required (market data/order entry/real time position/exposure tracking/trade allocation/trade reporting to prime broker/reconciliation/compliance checks/etc.)
Broad financial instrument knowledge required (Equities/Options/Futures/FX/Fixed Income/Exchange & OTC Traded Derivatives/etc.)
Strong project management skills and excellent written/verbal communications skills required
Demonstrated success in building applications/implementing vendor systems
Both client and server side development experience
Lead projects from requirement through UAT/implementation
Strong technical/development skills along with SDLC experience
.Net Framework/Visual Studio/C# programming/WinForms development
Object oriented development experience
Real time data distribution
SQL Server development
C/C++ background a plus
Hedge Fund Experience a plus
Other Application System Experience (Portfolio Accounting/Collateral Management/Performance Measurement/Risk/etc.) preferred
